Lorraine’s practice is focused on the area of patents and trademarks. From searches to determine the possibility of obtaining an issued patent or trademark registration to the drafting and prosecution of the applications themselves, Lorraine guides inventors and entrepreneurs through the patent and trademark process. In addition, Lorraine prepares patent infringement and validity opinions as needed for the litigation of patent infringement suits.

Living in Alberta, Lorraine has a knowledge of many aspects of the oil and gas industry and has drafted and helped in the drafting of many patents related to tools and methods used in the oil and gas industry.
