A Partner in Prowse Chowne LLP, Don's practice is split between administrative law and civil litigation. He has advised and advocated for rural and urban landowners in hundreds of expropriation, environmental, development and energy-related cases. His name is well known by such administrative tribunals as the Alberta Land Compensation Board, the Alberta Energy and Utilities Board and various Subdivision and Appeal Boards. Don has represented individuals, groups and First Nations before regulatory tribunals with great success. Don's litigation practice focuses on property, estate and environmental issues, and has taken him before every level of Alberta court. He’s been involved in several Habitat for Humanity builds, co-chairing the funding and organization of one in the name of the late Chief Justice William Sinclair.
